09872 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control system, ice blockage and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09872 Possible Causes:
09872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09872 Code
- Inspect all the connections minimum throttle position, not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
