When you open particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reversing light, circuit short to b+ . On the other hand relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09871 Possible Causes:
09871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
