When you open injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

09865 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09865 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
