09858 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system powertrain data bus, missing message from steering wheel electronics and fuel pump "b" control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09858 Possible Causes:
09858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09858 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
