The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of instrument cluster the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply, voltage high voltage you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
09850 Possible Causes:
09850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 09850 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
