This something to do with the intake camshaft timing activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low also exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich is the final reason of the code. |
09848 Possible Causes:
09848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

- Inspect all the connections load signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
