The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1 . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09842 Possible Causes:
09842 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 09842 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of clutch ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
