The problem is about catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
09841 Possible Causes:
09841 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09841 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
