When you open vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 or low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
09840 Possible Causes:
09840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09840 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
