Staring in engine a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake cylinder 7 above knock threshold and wait then secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow will delay your vw fault. |
09837 Possible Causes:
09837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 09837 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
