The problem is about exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open you can see the interference in mechatronic module is the final reason of the code. |
09833 Possible Causes:
09833 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 09833 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
