Accumulated in electronic control units so temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ you can see the intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09831 Possible Causes:
09831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09831 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
