09823 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high also control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
09823 Possible Causes:
09823 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09823 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
