The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |
09820 Possible Causes:
09820 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 09820 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure regulator, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
