This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low . So for next o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich will delay your vw fault. |
09806 Possible Causes:
09806 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 09806 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
