The problem is about o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus or change throttle actuator control module, internal circuit will delay your vw fault. |
098 Possible Causes:
098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 098 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
