This something to do with the intake camshaft timing brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
09797 Possible Causes:
09797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09797 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
