09797 Possible Causes:
09797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 09797 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
