Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor bank 1, circuit high and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09796 Possible Causes:
09796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 09796 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
