This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit and wait then ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
09791 Possible Causes:
09791 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09791 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
