The problem is about interference in mechatronic module It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance and wait then idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

09790 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09790 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
