This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, forced idle to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses or change a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
09778 Possible Causes:
09778 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09778 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
