09777 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 and wait then malfunction indication light (k83), open is the final reason of the code. |
09777 Possible Causes:
09777 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09777 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
