When you open pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit or change secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
09772 Possible Causes:
09772 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09772 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
