09768 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ and outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09768 Possible Causes:
09768 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09768 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
