This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch run/start position, circuit low also system too lean at higher load, bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
09761 Possible Causes:
09761 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 09761 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 4, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
