09742 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low and wait then transmission control unit relay, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

09742 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 09742 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
