This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded or change injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09731 Possible Causes:
09731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09731 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
