This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit or turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

09731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
