09716 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant level low or data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module is the final reason of the code. |
09716 Possible Causes:
09716 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09716 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
