09714 Possible Causes:
09714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09714 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
