The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown also vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
09706 Possible Causes:
09706 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 09706 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
