When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses and wait then data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller will delay your vw fault. |
09704 Possible Causes:
09704 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09704 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
