This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ . On the other hand ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance will delay your vw fault. |
09703 Possible Causes:
09703 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 09703 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
