This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ also ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
09701 Possible Causes:
09701 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09701 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
