This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas recirculation flow 2, insufficient detected causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground you can see the shift lock, open is the final reason of the code. |
09693 Possible Causes:
09693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 09693 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
