When you open please check dtc memory of transmission ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance and wait then exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
09687 Possible Causes:
09687 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09687 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
