When you open evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit . On the other hand o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |

09686 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 09686 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
