This something to do with the intake camshaft timing activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent and injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
09661 Possible Causes:
09661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09661 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
