Diagnosing engine bar with fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed transmission control unit relay, short to b+ or change ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

09649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 09649 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
