This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground or exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
09646 Possible Causes:
09646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09646 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
