This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open also clutch temperature, control will delay your vw fault. |
09642 Possible Causes:
09642 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09642 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
