When you open exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction or leak in air intake system will delay your vw fault. |
09617 Possible Causes:
09617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09617 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
