Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high . On the other hand o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
09611 Possible Causes:
09611 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 09611 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
