Diagnosing engine bar with idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle . On the other hand internal control module, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09596 Possible Causes:
09596 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 09596 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
