This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation . So for next intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance will delay your vw fault. |
09557 Possible Causes:
09557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 09557 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
