This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor bank 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu or change engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
09538 Possible Causes:
09538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09538 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
