When you open kick down switch malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm and wait then reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
09500 Possible Causes:
09500 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09500 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
