09491 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine a/c control module requested, mil illumination retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent and wait then idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
09491 Possible Causes:
09491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09491 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
