09491 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
09491 Possible Causes:
09491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 09491 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
