09490 Description And Summary : |

When you open internal control module, driver error the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit or change exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
09490 Possible Causes:
09490 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 09490 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
