The problem is about bank 1; system too lean at idle it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control motor, control circuit also exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
09490 Possible Causes:
09490 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 09490 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
