When you open secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ . So for next please check dtc memory of air condition ecu is the final reason of the code. |
09488 Possible Causes:
09488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 09488 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
