The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault camshaft position signal output, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low also intake air heater "a", circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
09481 Possible Causes:
09481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 09481 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
